There are only 5 years until the 2015 deadline to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

With the 63rd Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference finished, focus turned to the MDG Summit, a high level meeting in New York (20 – 22 September) where the Secretary General of the United Nations challenged the governments of the world to recommit to halving poverty by 2015.
