Camp out – right in the heart of Melbourne!

Imagine waking up on Father’s Day in the great outdoors, and enjoying a delicious barbeque breakfast and some fabulous family activities. Park’s Victoria’s Albert Park ‘Camp Out’ is a unique opportunity for Melbourne families to experience camping with a difference. Camp Out will be held at Albert Park and give families the chance to try camping and enjoy a range of fun outdoor activities.

‘Camp Out’ is the perfect introduction for those who have not had the wonderful experience of camping in Victoria’s magnificent park network. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been camping and don’t have a tent! Tents can be provided for those who need them. Camp Out will provide participants with the basic knowledge needed to experience camping in Victoria’s magnificent park network.

Be prepared to have fun and give Dad a Father’s Day he’ll never forget!

Cost: $25 per family (max 4 people per tent)
Cost includes parking, tent hire (if required) a BBQ dinner on Saturday night and BBQ breakfast on Father’s Day, plus a great range of outdoor activities.

Activities: Sailing, spotlighting, trivia quiz, nature walks, ranger talks, bush skills and camping information (activities may be subject to change).

What to bring: Sleeping bag and sleeping mat or stretcher, pillow, warm clothes, tent (if you have one), torch and/or lantern, a cup, plate and cutlery, old runners and pants (for water based activities), toiletries and a towel, snacks (such as fresh and dried fruit, biscuits, juice, chocolate), warm hat, camera (alcohol not permitted).

Numbers are strictly limited to 50 tents.
